Disclaimer
If the Canada Revenue Agency calculates a different tax amount due to missing or incorrect information, Canadataxback accepts no responsibility if the “Notice of Assessment” is modified by the Canada Revenue Agency .
Missing/incorrect information includes, for example:
- omitting a Canadian T4 slip
- not reporting additional income for the tax year*
- not reporting foreign income for the tax year*
Refunds
The services offered on www.canada-taxback.com are delivered electronically. With the delivery of the completed documents (PDF) the service is completed. This means that a refund of the fees is then no longer possible.
A change of opinion on the preparation of the tax return after completion of the service will not result in a refund of the fees.
A partial refund of the invoice will only be made if the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency) calculates a lower tax refund. In this case, the invoice amount will be corrected and the difference will be refunded.
However, this does not apply
- if the taxpayer has failed to report income in the request form and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) had to recalculate the taxes as a result.
- if the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) uses all or part of the tax refund to offset an amount owing for example GST/HST credits that might have to be repaid.
*Canadian Tax Year is January 1 – December 31
